Canvas prints are shipped rolled, ready to stretch over an internal frame or to be framed. If you have any questions or want a specific size, please contact me.

Can you print on Aluminium, Wood, Acrylic or Dibond?
  • The shipping costs of these mediums from South Africa abroad are extremely high. As such our recommendation is to send you a high res file for you to make the print on the medium of your choice, wherever you are in the world.

Please note that because all my prints are limited editions the cost remains the same as it does for paper prints with the printing costs being handled by yourself.

Should cost not be an issue shipping can be arranged particularly within the African context.

Does my wildlife print come with a border?

All our prints come with a 60 mm / 6cm / 2.36inch white border to allow for artist signature and edition.

Do you also offer a framing service?

Since our clients span across the globe most with a host of different framing needs, we generally only offer a print service. This allows the collector the freedom of expression in term of framing material preferences and the important tie in with décor. Keep in mind that the star of the show is the always the print and good framing will only enhance the beauty of the art. Cost effectiveness is another huge factor so framing locally saves significantly on high shipping costs and possible increased complications of damage.

Should any of our clients have special needs that require framing please reach out and we will do our absolute best to assist. We do have some local, European and American framers to recommend if required.

SHIPPING

How is my print shipped?

All unframed prints are meticulously rolled up with a specially fabricated acid free tissue paper that protects the printed surface. The print is then inserted into a sturdy cardboard sleeve / tube which ensures safe transit and arrival to your door.

How long does it take for my print to be delivered?

Once we have received verification and payment of your order it is then processed for printing and packaging. We generally allow between three and seven business days for this before a courier is allocated for delivery. You will receive a tracking number in order to track your order.

In South Africa orders are shipped with the Courier Guy Economy and this takes two to three days to arrive.

For international orders DHL Express is the service we use to ensure your package arrives within their three to ten days delivery time period.

What about duties and taxes?

We do not charge duties or taxes for international orders but customers will need to pay for any associated import fees including fees and customs related to their order after the artwork has been purchased.

Is my artwork shipment Insured?

Yes, we ensure full coverage on all shipments. If you receive damaged artworks please notify us within a week with images or a short video detailing the issue (See below for more details) We will either replace or repair but only on insured shipments to the delivery address and not any damage incurred from onward addresses.

What happens if I receive a damaged shipment?

If you receive a damaged shipping tube and print it’s important to immediately log this with the shipping company on delivery in order for them to have it on record. Do NOT return it with them.

Please notify us within 14 days and request a reprint providing the relevant details pertaining to the damaged shipment with a few images or short video to prove courier liability.

We will provide a replacement reprint with the same edition number for free provided the above time frame is met. We will need to ascertain if the shipment company is liable for the damage and make a claim from them.

In order for us to do this please act promptly and ensure you act within the 14day window period - time is of the essence since DHL only has a short window of 30 days in which to pursue damage claims.

What about customer or framer’s damage to the artwork?

Mistakes can happen when handling fine art prints during the framing process. If damage is incurred rendering the print un usable please ensure to report this to us within 120 days from date of delivery - along with some photos or short video as evidence.

Due to the handling costs involved of re printing a 35% fee of the original print will be charged plus the courier / shipping fee. We will also request that the damaged print is destroyed to avoid having in circulation two artworks with the same edition number.

Can I open the shipping tube when it arrives?

We strongly recommend that you DO NOT open the shipping tube and rather take it directly to the framer. This is to avoid any unwanted outcomes associated with handling the rolled-up print too much. The framer will also need to uncurl the print with gloves on to ensure its flat for the mounting and framing process.

What is your cancellation policy?

Since all our artworks are custom orders and production of the work purchased is set in motion soon after, the artwork cannot be cancelled, returned or refunded at any time.

CARE

Can I store the artwork in the tube for an extended time

Yes, provided the tube is kept in a climate stable environment the artwork can be stored safely for a few years.

How do I care for my wildlife art print?

Treat your print as you would any other extremely valuable fine art piece because your print is 1 of only 108, in the entire world. The artwork should never be hung in direct sunlight for prolonged periods. Prolonged direct sunlight is likely to cause discolouration in your print. High humidity areas can cause the paper to expand and bend. Please do not for whatever reason use any solvents in direct contact with your print – ever.

Never touch the print with your finger tip’s, the natural oil will leave a mark. Never wipe a piece of dirt from the print surface with your finger, rather utilise a blower brush. Please get your fine art print framed as quickly as possible and always place the acid free tissue paper, that comes with your print, on top of it to avoid damage – until it is framed. Only use professional framers who should be using the best materials for the tape, backing board, mounting board and matting board. Non-reflective glass with UV protection or museum acrylic glaze will help your print to stand the test of time.

How long will my artwork last?

Giclee prints are renowned for their extensive longevity and with the correct care should last generations.
